Design

Hurst Construction provides design services within our pre-construction offerings. We regularly collaborate with local architectural firms and designers to bring design ideas to fruition. If you already have a designer selected, we’re happy to work with them as well. We also have three team members, including owner Ian Hurst, with architecture degrees, which gives us the flexibility to assist with drawings and offer design-build services.

Within a traditional project delivery method, the homeowner contracts and manages the architect/design team and the construction team as separate entities. Within a design-build project delivery method, the homeowner manages one contract with a single entity. Designer and contractor work collaboratively to provide project solutions within a set schedule and budget managed by one responsible party who acts as the primary point of contact for the owner.
